Here are some resources for teaching online. I have started using Blackboard Collaborate and here are a few presentations I’ve assembled about tools to help students learn to use them.

These are all designed for Blackboard 9.
I use the Collaborate Plan tool to create my sessions in advance. For example, my students spend some time in breakout rooms during every class session and the tool allows me to create those rooms in advance which helps the class flow better.
In January 2013, I’m taking an E-Learning and Digital Cultures course through Coursera to learn omre online teaching and learning. I also wanted to see what being in a MOOC would be like. I’ll be blogging about the experience here.
